This is a small lua weak i made which improves the bloom/lighting effects for X-plane 12 and makes it look more realistic be it day or night .Simple installation ( drag and drop ).Only tested on Xplane 12.1.0 and later versions......................
I made this lua to adjust the bloom of xplane 12 for day and night.
How to use :
Just drag and drop it in the scripts folder of flywithlua.
In the sim increase the exposure if required by .5 units via the screenshot controls.

Hi this is a fantastic script everything is so much more realistic, although I do find a slight over bloom in the cockpit with lights. sorry for my layman, but how do I do this instruction with the Blah.lua? “In the sim increase the exposure if required by .5 units via the screenshot controls.”? I don’t see any settings in X-Plane to change exposure?

Go to the view tab after spawning in and then click on show screenshot controls , it will pop up a panel where you can adjust the exposure.
